** Update: Shadow is currently in the Emergency Vet for overnight treatment. He became obstructed all the way through his colon. He’s being given fluid, pain meds and enemas to try and get him moving. If the enemas don’t work they may have to put him under anesthesia to do stronger treatment.
Truthfully, he could have died without emergency care.
His vet bill is rapidly increasing. If you’re feeling generous, I would appreciate any help.
I’ll do what I have to do for this little guy. It’s only been a couple weeks but he is a very loved and valued member of our little pack.
Thanks,
S

Shadow came to me as a rescue due to his 84 year old owner being unable to care for him.
Shadow has been having “bloody stools” for over a year. It is obvious that he is incredible pain. When I got him checked out the Veterinarian found 2 masses in his rectum. One was approximately the size of a nickel and a smaller one right next to it. The Vet said she has operated on these before and they are usually not cancerous. She believes she can successfully remove the masses and allow him to go to the bathroom pain free.
His estimated surgery is 1400, without additional incidentals.
The vet clinic is Four Corners Veterinary Clinic (541) [phone redacted] If you would like to make a donation to the clinic directly, his account is under Stacy Nielsen.
Please help me get Shadow the surgery he needs so he can continue being a spunky young pug.
