Shadow’s Knees Surgeries


This is Shadow, my baby, he is a 5 year old American Bulldog. He is currently being treated for Bilateral cranial cruciate ligament and osteoarthritis. In English... both of his knees are messed up, to the point that during good days he wobbles and limps a bit, but during bad days... sigh... he can’t put his back paws down, doesn’t have the strength to get up, walk, or jump. So... due to his recent diagnosis, he needs to have a surgery on both of his knees. Because of his young age, this surgery would really improve his quality of life for the years to come. Although I am going to do whatever I can to get him through the surgeries, they are quite pricy for this grad school student. Each knee is estimated to be 3,400 dollars, totaling 6,800 approx. Therefore, I created this account in order to gather some funds to help my baby feel and play like a pup again.

Update: After doing research and asking in different places, we found a place that would do both knees for 4,100, instead of the original 3,400 per knee. Therefore, I’m changing the goal in order to reflect the new estimate. Shadow is schedule for surgery this coming Friday, May 10th. Thank you all again for all the support !! ❤️
