Earlier this week Shadow got extremely sick out of nowhere. He stopped eating, couldn’t walk, wouldn’t wag his tail, was throwing up, and we had to carry him around the house. He was lethargic and nothing like himself. I took him to the vet for tests, and when we got the results the next day, Shadow had gotten worse and his body was in crisis mode. I rushed him to the pet hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
Tonight he is finally on the road to recovery thanks to countless vets. We were able to confirm that Shadow was born with a disease that attacks his body, and doesn’t show up until ages 4-7. Shadow is about to turn 6. I will continue to do anything to keep Shadow happy and healthy, but this unexpected emergency took a lot out of me. If anyone is able to help in any way, I will be forever grateful and shadow and I will make you cupcakes after his therapy.
