My name is Adam Mark Brown and I have been making films and videos for almost 15 years. Throughout this endeavor, I've directed/produced everything from music videos, documentaries, narrative shorts, and fashion videos, to other commercial projects. Many of these projects were made on very low budgets, at times self-funded, and through the joy of many people who were excited to be involved with making it happen.

Beginning in Ohio, I moved Shadow Dream to Austin, Texas with the concept to serve and add value to others who through the film and video medium could advance their passions and projects. At the same time, we continued to make art around the original vision that compelled us from the beginning.

While our market may be niche, Shadow Dream was meant to provide a platform for artists, labels, brands, companies, and agencies to market visual content that would be set apart from the norm. It was a flagship to provide visual content that would drive them forward through cutting-edge, dreamy, and at times provocative cinematic imagery and story.

At this time, we are trying to help Shadow Dream progress to the next level while building up the company through simple marketing as well as providing compensation and resources for our team to move forward. One way that we are planning to advance these efforts is by placing more emphasis on cinematography. Funding will allow us to purchase equipment of a more professional level that we can bring to the table in-house.

On the narrative side, we've made a solid lineup of compelling short films. In this repertoire, we've tackled challenging issues such as trafficking, addiction, faith, relationships, survival, and resiliency. These projects were passion projects that ultimately serve the reason of telling a story or creating an emotion that impacts people and contains relevance.
