Shadow Vaults Festival Run

I'm Kevin T. Morales, and I'm raising money to help my feature film, "Shadow Vaults," make its festival run. This is a film I've made for very little money during the lockdown of 2020, and it's finally finished, but certain expenses can't be avoided. Please help present this intimate, gothic ghost story to the world. The film is finishing post-production. Here's the synopsis:

During the quarantine, a close and eclectic group of New York theater industry friends gather for their weekly online Dungeons and Dragons campaign via an online app called Meeting Stone. Isolated and anxious about the pandemic, they set the mood for a new gothic adventure by sharing ghost stories and hoping to welcome a lonely young woman who is joining them for the first time. Drinks flow and tongues loosen, and the stories become increasingly scarier, and it's clear the new girl is bothered by something. When she shares her tale, it is more than anyone is ready for.

All funds raised will go toward Film Festival submission fees, the creation of the DCP file so that it may be projected in theaters, and paying the actor's deferred salaries. A number of Broadway actors gave me their time as we completed this socially distanced production. A number of other deferred fees from post-production artists, all of who generously discounted their rates and services. None of the proceeds will be paid to me or the producers. It all goes to unavoidable finishing and production expenses and to compensate talented creatives who collaborated with me.

Our first film festival is the Dead Northern Horror Festival in York, England. While it is too expensive for me to travel to the festival, I will be participating virtually, and they are programming the film for the prime time Friday night slot to coincide with their ghost story cocktail event. I hope more festivals will follow.
