Help Shadow Heal – Urgent Surgery Needed After Cruel Attack

On 30th July, a heartbreaking and senseless act changed everything for a beloved young cat named Shadow. While making his way home from a walk – something he loved to do – Shadow was shot in the back with an air rifle. He’s just one year old: full of life, playful, and was completely trusting of the world around him.

Despite his injuries, this brave boy somehow managed to crawl back home to his family, where he was rushed to the vet. The full extent of his injuries is still being assessed. X-rays have shown that the bullet is still lodged inside him, and he will need urgent surgery within the next 24–48 hours to have any chance at recovery.

Shadow didn’t deserve this. He was doing nothing but being a typical happy kitten – and now he’s scared, confused, and in pain.
