My name is Khadija. I am fundraising on behalf of my friend Shadia who is on dialysis machine and fighting for her life. Both of her kidneys failed two months ago and she is in need of a kidney transplant.

Shadia has always been a beacon of light - jolly, vibrant, full of energy and radiating happiness. She loved deeply, forgave easily and inspired those around her with boundless hope and compassion.

Shadia is battling Lupus Nephritis, a very painful kidney disease. It is draining both emotionally and financially. A kidney transplant is the only answer. Luckily enough, a matching doner has been identified.
