Shade Tree Family

My name is Alison Martin, i have worked with Arrin at the Shade Tree Saloon for nearly two years now. It has been an honor to get to know her for the kind hearted, funny, intelligent, hard working young woman she is. I know that many of you have known and loved her for many years and have also been shaken by the news of what she is going through right now.

When I first found out about Arrin’s accident I was in disbelief, I felt so helpless as I know many of you did. As bartenders we make money on a day to day basis, and it is rare that we have insurance should an emergency occur. At this time it is unknown when Arrin will be able to work again. I knew that losing her income would be a great stress on her during a time when she needed to focus on healing.

...And then I remembered about Go Fund Me. So I started this page in order to provide a way for people to help, however big or small, a way for us to show her love and support, a way to alleviate just a little of her burden. This is not for her medical bills, this is to help her with her monthly bills while she is unable to work. Things like rent, food, electricity & so on.

The response so far has been so amazing. From people who have donated here through the GoFundMe website and people who have given at the bar, your generosity has deeply touched Arrin. I had the pleasure of speaking with her this evening during which time she said “I am so fortunate to recieve all of the love & support from all of you...I can not thank you enough....I have a long road ahead of me but I am taking this all in as best as I can.”

I know you are all very anxious to see her and love on her and she is looking forward to that as well once she is further along in her recovery.
