Mom is going to hate me for this. She was never one to take "handouts" but as the defiant daughter I'm doing it anyway.
Mom, Ann Reynolds, has been struggling with her health since the beginning of November. After multiple ER visits and many ambulance rides we finally have some answers.
Stage IV small cell lung cancer. It is incurable but is treatable. She has begun chemo but still sits in the ICU fighting to get better. We are hoping with treatment she'll be well enough to leave the ICU and eventually be able to come home.
Despite my better judgement, I'll probably get grounded for this, I have decided to put together a fundraiser to help her with medical bills. As she's still in the hospital we don't have an amount due or even know how much will be covered by insurance but when she gets home I want her to focus on getting better not stressing over medical costs.
