Shad Hoffman Fund for Dee and Family

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Shad Hoffman passed away unexpectedly at his home. Shad was only 42 years old. Shad and his wife, Dee, had many future plans but they could have never imagined he would be be gone at such an early age. Many things could be written about Shad but some of his friends said it best.

(For those who know, Shad Hoffman- you know. You already know what has been, is being lost. For those who don't know- please let me share.)

We lost a good one. Our beautiful friend and sweet -hearted brother could fill a room with joy and laughter just as quickly as he could fill our hearts, with love and acceptance. Shad lived an authentic faith and it met a true need in the relationships he cultivated across this country - relationships that will now be long missed and often remembered. Shad was honestly real, transparently kind, and unabashedly, unconditionally accepting (unless Nickelback was involved). His music and voice often found their way to sad parts of our lives and then lifted our spirits to something better. Even today, we are searching his songs out for a re-listen & reminder of that something better.
Shad made our world more beautiful. Now, he is gone and now there is a void to fill and a need to be met. If you knew Shad these last 5 years- you know that he has left behind his amazing bride and best of friend, Deidre. Her loss and pain, and that of his kiddos, is far beyond all of ours. There are expenses that we can help mitigate, to help in this transition, and by helping we can live our faith in a physical, authentic, and true way.
