My name is Brooke, my best friend Kaysie and her brother Kyle lost their mother, Sha, on September 17th after complications during surgery.

For the last, almost, 2 years Sha has been in a longterm nursing facility. Due to her needs for dialysis, Sha was placed in a facility an hour away from her home and Kaysie has been driving back and forth to ensure her mother received the care she needed. The hope was after surgery they could move her to a facility closer to home and sadly she passed away the morning following the surgery.

Sha was like a second mother to me. She was always kind to me. In the 20+ years I've known her i can't recall a single time she treated anybody poorly. She had a heart of gold. Sha was kind and loving and Kyle and Kaysie were truly her pride and joy. She would light up every time they showed up to visit her, if she knew they were coming she would talk all day about it to anybody and everybody that would listen about how excited she was to see them.

I have created this gofundme to help cover the remainder of the funeral cost to ease the burden on her children, Kaysie and Kyle, during this difficult time.

Sha had some coverage but unfortunately it doesnt cover the entire cost of for the funeral and burial.

Please consider donating to help them lay their mother rest so that they can mourn her without the added worry of the financial burden.

Please also keep Kaysie and Kyle in your prayers as they navigate this difficult time. They are both feeling very overwhelmed so I hope that this can help ease some of the load they are carrying so they can focus on giving their mother the memorial service she deserves.

The date of the service and burial for Sha is 9/26/25. The balance must be paid by the morning of the service giving us just a week to come up with remaining funds.
