Sonia Bonilla's Family Fund

I have known Sonia Bonilla since our high school days (Go Quakers), and our college days (Go Huskies!) Sonia has been a true warrior in her battle with an extremely resistant form of Hodgkins Disease, which is a blood cancer like no other. She shares her journey with friends and family on FaceBook, not to complain, but to educate. Sonia has been through SO MUCH, but her focus is never on her - it is always on others, especially her beautiful daughter, who is just like a mini version of Sonia. Sonia is always inspiring others, educating, helping and supporting others, all while going through brutal cancer treatments. On March 25th of this year, Sonia underwent a bone marrow donor procedure, which was her only option at possibly being cured. She's going through a really rough time right now, as is her family. They could really use your support for medical and other necessary expenses. She doesn't know I'm doing this for her - she is too sick right now for communication. If this doesn't touch your heart yet, here are a few other things about Sonia you may not know. Sonia is a veteran, who proudly served her country. Sonia is a mother to the most beautiful little girl ever, who needs her mom in her life for much, much longer. Sonia is deeply committed to her religion (Roman Catholic). Sonia worked tirelessly to support a little girl who just passed away from brain cancer so that this little girl could check off all the items on her bucket list. Sonia would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. Her heart and soul are so full of love, hope and joy, and she is an inspiration to so many. I am so honored to have her as a friend.
