Hi, I'm Arne Nordwall and I have a crisis . I am on SS and have no other source of income. I have chronic health issues which keep me from working for at least the near future. I have been trying to live on my SS deposit and by selling things to help pay for food. Over the winter, my electricity/heating bills went crazy. I tried paying about a hundred a month, but the electric utility finally shut off my power about the first of this month ( May 2023) . I was faced with a decision to pay my rent ( which I have never missed paying) - or getting the power back. I had no choice , really.

So, now, the corporation which is my landlord has served me with initial papers before beginning an eviction. I have reached out for help from the State and other help agencies, but I need to pay down this rent bill and put myself on a path toward being able to take care of myself with the help of state and local agencies. I know that I should have reached out for help much sooner, but I somehow felt I could power through this.
