Help a Single Mom Rebuild After Hurricane Milton
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I am reaching out for help after the unimaginable. We recently lost everything in Hurricane Milton, which has left us homeless and struggling to find stability. Our lives were upended in a matter of hours as the storm destroyed not only our home but also our belongings, memories, and sense of security. Our homes we just moved to in Port St. Lucie was destroyed leaving me, my two children and our two pups without anything.
Right now, we’re doing our best to stay strong and take each day one step at a time. We’re actively looking for a safe place to relocate and rebuild in Georgia but starting from scratch is overwhelming. Basic necessities, housing, and the financial resources needed to restart are in short supply, and we’re struggling to make it on our own. I have contacted FEMA & my renters insurance but they are at a loss due to landlord not responding to calls or emails & without an inspection they can’t assist me.
This is where I humbly ask for your support. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping us secure housing, replace essential items, and cover daily living expenses until I can get back on my feet. I am committed to working hard and rebuilding our lives, but we need a helping hand to get there.
Every dollar counts, and even if you’re unable to donate, sharing my story would mean the world to us. We are so grateful for any kindness shown to our family in this difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, thoughts, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Single Mom of 2
