Wednesday night, 7/24/19 Jan, Abby, Braxton, Hailey & Penelope were involved in a serious automobile accident. Fortunately, everyone survived but they incurred severe, life threatening injuries.
Jan & Penelope were released from the ER with minor injuries. Hailey, Braxton & Abby were admitted to the Pediatric ICU.
Hailey has since been released following facial surgery but has a long recovery.
Abby had surgery to repair a broken hip and has a severe concussion that will require significant follow up care.
Braxton has the most injuries having a broken back & shattered pelvis. He is alert & responsive but will be in a wheelchair for a very long time.
The children have shown great strength & patience throughout this trauma. The road to recovery will be long & painful, especially Braxton.
We are raising funds to help assist with the anticipation of extensive medical bills and supportive care costs in the coming months.
