Nicolas Patino was the proudest Marine I ever came across. He loved the corps, his brothers, his family and his country.
He served his country with honor in Iraq and would want you to know that he was the best 50 cal gunner in the unit (even better than me).
We lost a warrior and a brother. A man who found the good in the worst of us. A man who was generous beyond belief. A man who loved as fiercely as he lived. A man whose pride was not in himself but in those around him. He was a father, a brother, and a United States Marine.
Please help his family lay him to rest with dignity. He is survived by his wife and two young children. Any funds we raise in excess of the cost of the funeral will be placed in trust for his children to use for college expenses.
Anything helps.
