Fire disaster recovery!

The story below is still very valid.  However, my son also lost his job due to missed days because of this horrible fire.  Please help them recover from this disaster.  They have nothing but really want to get back on their feet, at least enough to be able to seek employment again!  It's hard to work when you don't even have a home.  They are currently sleeping in a tent.....homeless.  Not only that, but they had some donations from a local church that were stolen from their campsite while they were sifting ashes where they used to live.  Hard to believe but true.    Any help is so very very much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you to all.  Please share this page because it does help a ton!  I pray for everyone that was affected by this fire.  And I thank all of you for your help!



My son Sean Kauffman and his fiance Cassidy lost everything they own in the Carr Fire  in French Gulch, Ca.   They were one of the first to lose their home on the first night of the fire.  (See KRCR interview on "Blessing Hill".    Their dog was missing but was found!  They had no insurance and no assets to fall back on.  Family has no money.  
Please help them out and donate anything you can to help them.  Feel free to contact me anytime for additional information.  I will withdraw money for them  in a couple days so that they can buy food, clothing, gas, etc.....anything they need because they have nothing left.  They were living  on a rental piece of property.    My name is Heidi, I'm Sean's mom, and I currently reside in NM.  I wish I was closer to be able to help them out, so this campaign is very appreciated by my entire family.  Thanks so much again for your support.   Also, I just learned that Cassidy's two children lost their home too...they lived part time with Sean and Cassidy, and part time with their dad, who lost his home also.  So the kids are homeless with no toys or clothes either.     Thank you ever so much for your donations!

Latest update from Sean:    After paying phone bill and food and 3 nights motel, Cass got a shirt and I got 1 pair of pants, and a crazy trip into Redding complete with flat tire/No jack/middle of the movie "hills have eyes" and exploding radiator/overheat session, were broke, no truck, half a car, and still homeless.
