Sgt. Kyle Blake Walker Memorial
Donation protected

My husband, Sgt. Kyle Blake Walker departed this earth on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He has served his country, took care of family and friends, always a help to EVERYONE he encountered throughout his life. There are people all over who are in disbelief of his passing. That shows the magnitude of his infectious personality, love for others and the jokester he was.
Kyle was medically discharged from the US Army August 2009. When a soldier is medically discharged, they qualify for a life insurance policy worth $10,000. However, the military will not automatically enroll the soldier to receive the insurance. Kyle had to opt in for it. The sad part is the representative I spoke to stated this happens a lot to families of deceased soldiers and she apologized to me. If the policies are given at no charge, why doesn't the military automatically enroll these soldiers during the discharge process. I was also told retired soldiers don't receive much after leaving the service. This is so sad that our men and women fight for our country and are treated in such a manner. Kyle would surely be upset knowing that I'm in this tough spot. Kyle is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and the VFW, Overland, Missouri.

So, I am asking EVERYONE, please help our family by donating for expenses for his memorial and home expenses that I incur until I can get back to a normal rhythm.
I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR MONETARY DONATION.
GOD BLESS AND MUCH LOVE!
