Sergeant Frederick “Butch” Cameron, a 16-year veteran of the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office, died on January 12, 2021, after battling COVID-19 for several weeks. He leaves behind his wife Michelle, children Chuckie and Adrianna, and his mother Zelma. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Henry Cameron and his brother Allen Ray Cameron.
Sgt. Cameron was known for his everlasting smile, constant “happy go lucky” demeanor, and of course, his love for all of the Washington DC sports teams. He spent a countless amount of time volunteering with an organization known as Law Enforcement United. This non profit organization’s sole purpose is to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and assist the family members that are left behind. With profound sadness, it is now time to return the favor to Butch and assist his family in picking up the pieces. Let us all help to ensure that the Cameron family has what they need to move forward in their lives without their hero. All proceeds will go directly to the Cameron family.
