Edwind Javier Castaneda

On July 26th, family and friends received the worst news any family should ever have to receive, that our family member Edwind J Castaneda had passed. 

Edwind J Castaneda aka "tigre" was only 27 years old at the time of his passing. He was currently serving in the U.S Army Reserve. Edwin was a loving son,  brother, soldier, great friend, vibrant, funny, dedicated, hard-working, full of life  young man who still had so much life ahead of him.  Edwind had recently moved to Austin, TX,  because he had dreams of buying his first home one day.  He was ready to serve his country in the coming months as he was preparing to be deployed to Kuwait. 

Losing a loved one is never easy especially in this manner. No parent should ever have to bury their own child. His parents Sr. Edwin Castaneda and mother Mrs. Hayde Pajares currently live in Lima, Peru. Due to the unforeseen events occurring with this pandemic, they are not able to leave Peru to come to the states. Our wishes are to bring his body from Texas to New Jersey. In New Jersey there will be a ceremony held in his honor and for his family/friends to pay their respects. From there, the ultimate goal is to bring him to Peru, where he can be laid to rest by his father and mother. This fundraiser will assist to  cover any costs or expenses for his funeral that will take place here and in Peru.

I, Pamela puerto as his sister will be managing this fund to cover the cost between the expense here in the United States and his burial in Peru. As this gofund is difficult to manage in Peru. We appreciate any donation amount in helping our family through this difficult time.
