Meet Sunny Girl,

She was born an extreme preemie.

Weighing 1lb 8oz @24weeks we had our NICUI stay for 142 days. What a journey its been, however its such a blessing to watch this lil girl fight her way through.✨️She was diagnosed with Spastic Ceberal Palsy at the age of 3 and we have been doing Physical & Occupational Therapy since she was released from the hospital. Slowly but surley she has reached many milestones.

Sunshine is mobile by Wheelchair & Walker. However she definitely likes to still crawl, but we are doing our best to motivate and transition this habit. Due to Spasticity, there is pain thats is recieved in the lower ligaments.

Currently, we are raising funds for our out of state travels & aftercare intensive therapy.

We have our surgery scheduled July 2023

There's this Life Changing operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) that would create this lil ray of light to have Independent Steps!!. This surgery, helps get rid of the Spasticity in her body caused by Ceberal Palsy. "Spastic" is high muscle tone and tightness in her muscles which can be very painful and gets worse by aging.For this procedure they go into the back and cut the rootles that are sending miss signals to the brain. Which then releases the spasticity in the legs.

This major spine surgery will allow Sunny's bones and muscles to grow properly which will give her a greater chance at a Independent Life Walking. .
