Giving a Kidney....
Donation protected
My niece Jesslyn Truax is a tough woman, she usually takes on the world and rarely asks for support. She is not asking for support now, her family is doing it for her. We found out today that Jesslyn will be having surgery in less than 2 weeks. She is giving a kidney to the man who has never ever strayed from her, her dad Donny Truax. Yes, lots of people donate a kidney and don't need support, but life has thrown Jesslyn some obstacles , some she has barely got through . Jesslyn has owned her own dance business since she was 19, Take 5 Dance. True to her passion of dance and her passion to help children experience the love of movement and self confidence, she has never wavered from her known fact that this career choice would not make her a millionaire. Last year was her best year of business ever, and things were so promising for her. Then Covid hit! She opened her business in September as usual but with only a fraction of her students. As I said earlier, she is strong, she shoulders a lot, but she needs a bit of help. Jesslyn is a single Mom to 2 teenagers, she runs a business that employs people. While she is on bedrest, she will still be paying her employees, she will still be paying her bills, she will still be supporting her 2 kids, but she will be going further into debt. This is not only about Jesslyn, this is about her dad Donny. As parents we never expect that one day we will need someone you love more than life, to step forward and hand over to you a chance at a longer healthier life. And when it does happen your emotions are all over the place. Relief, anxiety, guilt, and hope. Donny is ill, and he has been for a long time, besides having diabetes he underwent open heart surgery just a few years ago. You can see it has been a rough go, but the love that they have for each other is endless. I ask you to help both Jesslyn and Donny manage the next few months. Donny needs to know that Jesslyn will make it through her recovery without the added burden of going further into debt. Jesslyn would live in a shoe box and be broke until the day she dies if that meant her dad didn't die at only 60. In advance I want to thank you. Donny & Jesslyn are proud people, hardworking people that truly just need a bit of relief.
