22 Veterans a day take their lives. Yesterday, we lost a husband, father, son, brother and true friend. He was a CSM in the World's Finest Army, serving our great country for 24 of his 49 short years. He touched, in some way, everyone he ever came across.
His family is the epitome of a soldier. EJ gave countless hours of service on and off duty. He was a soldier from birth until death. His wife, Samantha, is the most amazing and supportive person that walks this planet. At one point, her husband was deployed in Iraq, her oldest son, Brandon, was deployed in Afghanistan and her youngest son, Austin, was going through basic training. At this point, the entire family was deployed, serving our great country and all the while, Samantha is holding it down at home, legally blind.
This family never, ever, complained. Never asked for anything, only served.
Now... this family, that has never asked for anything and given all, needs our help. Let's give it back to EJ and Sam... Brandon and Austin. All funds raised will go directly to them.
