Founded in 1863, St George’s Hospital Medical School RFC is one of the oldest clubs in world rugby. We are most known for still competing in the United Hospitals Rugby Cup (UH Cup) - the oldest rugby cup in the world (4 years older than the Calcutta Cup!).
The rugby club is made up of students from St George’s university of London and is filled with medics, physios, paramedics and biomedics.
This year the 1st team won the UH cup and BUCS league as well as making it to the final of the BUCS cup.
We are looking for donations of any size to help us with coaching and facilities so we can push on from this years successful season and really secure our future. We currently share grounds with Wimbledon RFC who have been great partners for many years. They have offered a greater stake in their club - offering us designated facilities and training area.
