I need your help. Well actually my sister Colleen and her husband Chad need our help. Back in July, Chad broke his neck while bodysurfing with my nephew in the Outer Banks. The good news is that he is walking and is hoping to make a full recovery. But he also has some nerve damage to his arm. He has been out of work since the accident, with no short term disability benefits.
I was unsure what to do and how much financial help Colleen and Chad would need so I held off on any type of fundraiser. But now the doctors recommend a full recovery before Chad returns to work, which could mean several more months without Chad's income. They are in a slight panic and Colleen is afraid Chad will try to return to work before he is ready. I just want to take one worry off their plate which is why I'm reaching out to you. I have hesitated sending out a GoFundMe, because I was not sure if this "qualifies" as a valid reason, but enough of you have assured me that this is what it's for! Anyone who knows Chad and Colleen knows how kind and generous they are, and that they would not hesitate to do the same for their family or friends in need. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for anything at all you can do to help these guys!
