Hello,
My name is Christian Lanier, I am the proud owner of The Fish house Seafood Market in Apex, NC. I was born and raised right down the street in Holly Springs, N.C. Growing up in a small town I wanted to make a difference in my community, I did not know exactly at the time what that was going to do, but I knew I wanted to do something. Well after working one summer at a local seafood market, I knew one day I would like to open one in my community. Fast forward to April 16, 2018, that dream became a reality. My vision of The Fish House was to serve my community fresh quality seafood at affordable price and a business that would give back to the community.
Since we open in 2018, we have done two different community events each year. The two different events we do are Breaking Bread and The Angel Tree. Breaking Bread is when we feed the homeless people the weekend before Thanksgiving. The Angel Tree we took donations of new or gentle used clothes and took them directly to individuals who are in need of new clothing.
To be very transparent, we are now in a very tight situation financially. Since COVID-19, we never really recovered financially. We have drained all accounts to keep the door open as long as possible. At this time, we are forced to make a very difficult decision regarding the business. This decision needs to be made as soon as possible. Closing the market is not my intention at all but the cost of fresh quality seafood has gone up like everything else.
With your help we can keep the doors open. No donations are too small nor too big. Funds will be used to more inventory and marketing campaigns.

It has been my sincere pleasure to serve my community with fresh quality seafood these past 5 years. Thank you very much for your support.
