Hello, I’m Sgàire and I’m an artist and trans woman living in Glasgow.

I have been attempting (and mostly managing!) to cover the cost of my transition independently since coming out but over time and with higher costs I have been feeling more and more limited by my financial circumstances.

Increased cost of living and some pretty unfortunate personal events over the last few years have left me in a very precarious position with no financial safety net or support and I am making the difficult and somewhat reluctant decision to lean a little on my beloved community ask for help!

Funds raised would mainly cover long-postponed laser hair removal and other treatments but will also contribute to more general medical care and safety related costs.

I understand that it's not exactly an amazing time for anyone money-wise but any contribution would be massively appreciated!!! I’m hoping to organise some events or other initiatives to give something back in exchange for whatever help I can get too so watch this space.
