Help me get back on my feet!

My name is Emily. I'm 30 and from Melbourne (Aus).

For the last four months, I have been battling a variety of different excruciatingly painful medical issues - all of which were unable to be diagnosed or traced back to any cause. Every scan and every test came back normal, leaving me with no answers and leaving me in extreme pain.

My doctor put everything down to Fibromyalgia, until he heard a slight Heart murmur during a check up. After an Ultrasound of the heart, we discovered a leaking valve in the heart and I was quickly rushed to hospital that afternoon.

I was diagnosed with Bacterial Endocarditis - a damaged valve in the Heart, with two different types of Streptococcus and Staphylococcus pumping through my blood, which had been slowly poisoning my body for months.

I'm now about to have Open Heart Surgery and expected to be off work for yet another few months to recover. This means I will have missed at least six months without an income, and bills are quickly piling up. Without government support I'm unable to cover these and will be in further debt.
