Support Karina's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Help support Karina's Fight Against Breast Cancer.

In January 2025, my dear friend Karina was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, one of the more aggressive forms of cancer. Although much a shock at the age of 31, this tribulation has not pushed Karina to defeat. Instead, she has attacked this enemy strong with her determined medical team and support system of family and friends. Her will and grit have helped her stay standing on her two feet, and with a positive mindset on what her future holds.

Aside from working as an orchestra teacher in Lynbrook School District, Karina has taught at Center Stage since March 2016. She has undoubtedly touched the lives of many students and their families.

We have organized this GoFundMe to help support Karina during this undoubtedly challenging time. In addition to 5 months of chemotherapy, Karina will have to undergo a double mastectomy. We hope that by providing some financial support, Karina can focus solely on her healing and recovery.
