Tragic Loss of Julio Lopez

We want to help give peace and comfort to the Lopez family during this time, to honor Julio Lopez and his memory. Julio was an amazing father to six children (Sabrina, 25, Adrian, 18, Anthony, 16, Julian, 12, Jacob, 10, and Jocelyn, 7), a loving and devoted husband to his beloved wife, Tera, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a friend to many. Julio loved his family more than anything in this world and lived by the value of family first. Julio was the man who would give you the shirt off his back so he could better your day or life before worrying about himself. The family established a beautiful life together, which wasn't always easy, but they overcame many obstacles through perseverance and dedication. Those who knew Julio know he was a genuine, caring, funny, and thoughtful friend to anyone and everyone, and his passing is an incomprehensible loss. We all loved Julio dearly, and he will be missed.

Julio Lopez suddenly passed away on the evening of July 20th. He was found unconscious by one of his younger children in the bedroom of their home while his wife, Tera, was in the hospital for emergency kidney surgery. Tera could not leave the hospital to be with her kids as she was in progressive steps towards kidney failure if the medical issues were not resolved. Adrian, his eldest son, stepped in to take care of the younger kids in the interim and ensure they were not surrounded or aware of the tragic events happening with their father. Adrian, and the youngest children, have been anxiously waiting for their mother, Tera’s, results and healthy arrival back home, so they can begin to mourn the tragic death of their father together.

In addition to the tragic events, Julio and Tera closed on their dream home last week, but what should have been the best time in their lives has turned into a nightmare and a future filled with heartache and uncertainty. This was such a happy milestone and positive progression to the great strides they took to do everything in their power to give their children the best possible life. This was made possible due to Julio’s new and exciting career as a Top Golf manager and Tera’s brand-new job in the health care industry.

We ask for donations to help provide financial relief for Tera and her children during this challenging time as they settle into their new home and an unfortunate new way of life without Julio. Julio was the main financial provider for his family and worked hard to ensure his family was taken care of. There is much uncertainty for Tera and his youngest children as they go on to navigate the world and life without their father. Any donations you can give are greatly appreciated.
