Our best friend and beloved Miami music legend, Frank Falestra AKA Rat Bastard, was in a serious car accident early Monday, November 3, 2025 morning. He has sustained major head and spine injuries and is going to need some help from the community! This has been created to cover hospital and rehabilitation bills. His recovery is uncertain at the moment but will likely take several months. Anything helps and will get him back up and running to ensure that your shitty band is LOUDER than ever.

He is a musician, producer, promoter and general musical consultant in and outside of South Florida. Few humans have contributed more to the South Florida music community as Rat. He has also been a major force in the experimental music community across the world. His annual International Noise Conference is one of the longest running music festivals in Florida. Rat even inspired fellow local musicians and friends to write, record and perform a rock opera written about him titled "Hearing Damage: The Rat Opera". Rat has offered all of us a place to crash and a shoulder to cry on that probably included a lecture out of love. Time for us to repay his kindness.

The family and close friends ask for privacy at this time. Updates will provided as we receive them from his amazing medical team. He is currently in the ICU so visitation is limited. We know everyone loves Rat, hang tight, you will all be able to give him hugs soon!
