Help replace my crushed car!

My name is Mayra, I'm a queer, woman of colour who is an aspiring entrepreneur in the city of Victoria. I'm the owner of the navy blue Subaru that got crushed by an uprooted Garry oak tree during the wind storm on November 4th, 2024.

Over the last year, I've been working on building a mobile sauna rental business. This last week in particular I've been at the finish line, ready to launch and bring my project to life.

Unfortunately, my car got destroyed by a massive Garry oak tree. I learned my basic insurance does not cover non-collision vehicle damage such as damage caused by a falling tree. This is a massive financial setback for me considering my beloved Subaru was how I was going to tow my sauna.
