Help Us Build A Home For A Family In Need.

Dear Friends & Family,

We have been provided an opportunity by Riva Trace Baptist Church, to join a mission group called Mi6:8 to build homes for the people living in the poverty-stricken area of Tecate, Mexico.

Each year approximately 100 people from around the country join to meet the physical and spiritual needs of this community. We build homes, focus on community outreach, and partner with the local church to help bring the gospel to Tecate.

We’re exited to be going to Mexico as part of a larger team from Riva Trace Baptist Church on June 21st – 27th. God has developed a passion for the people of Tecate over the past several years. This year we are building a church for a pastor that has partnered with Mi6:8 and Baja Christian Ministries. We will also be building at least one home for a family who doesn’t have one, hosting Vacation Bible School and providing an Eye-Glass clinic that not only helps people see better with new glasses, but that also goes door-to-door speaking to and praying with the families in this area as they are invited to participate. Finally, we’ll partner with the church to host a community fiesta after church on Sunday the 25th.

We would like to ask you to help us reach our goal in raising $5,000 for this cause. If you should choose to help support us financially, you will be acting as a blessing for a church community and for a family that is living in a shack made of trash. You will be making a tangible difference, both physically and spiritually in the lives of the people in Tecate. Anything that is raised over the amount needed goes toward the year-round aid Mi6:8 performs in Mexico.

More important than financial need is our need to be supported by prayer. We are going into a part of the world where hopelessness prevails, and darkness has a stronghold. We need prayer for spiritual and physical health during our time down there.
