Japan Math for SFC K/1 Students

The K/1 team at San Francisco Community School is piloting a new math program focused around Teaching Through Problem Solving (TTPS). Due to budget cuts across SFUSD, we are seeking additional funds to supplement and provide what we feel is best for our students. This new curriculum is Common Core and TTPS aligned.

TTPS has been our area of focus for professional development. We have chosen to dive deeper into TTPS and it is the focus of our independent K/1 inquiry. Ms. Lauren G. (Kindergarten) and Ms. May (First Grade) attended a TTPS immersion program this past summer in Japan. They experienced firsthand the positive impact of this amazing curriculum.
