Support Craig's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
My name is Amanda. My family is mourning the sudden loss of my cousin, Craig.
As you all know, we were cousins but grew up so close that we could have been siblings. His older sister was my regular babysitter growing up, so we were ALWAYS together. His life changed in 2008, when he suddenly lost his older brother Paul. And then it changed again in 2009, when he suffered a devasting brain injury from a car accident. His life was a battle from then on, from surgeries to seizures and eventually more health problems. Although we as his family loved and supported him as much as we all could, we could never really understand the depths of all of his struggles and the toll it took on him. I know we would all gladly have shouldered any of his burden if we could have. But through it all, he never stopped being unapologetically himself. He laughed loud and often. He spoke his mind. He never hesitated to hold the door open for others. He has left behind a heartbroken son, sisters, parents and entire family of people who will miss him terribly.
I am reaching out because his brain injury caused him to be uninsurable and the family could use any and all help to cover the unexpected costs and maybe even put a little away for his son's future. We are thankful from the bottom of our hearts to each and everyone who reads this and donates in our time of such sudden loss.
