Help Support Mayo's Education

My name is Mayo Bernal. I’m a junior drama major at a performing arts high school in Manhattan. I have been working hard and taking steps to further my education and my acting training. This year I decided to apply for some drama programs outside of school; I applied to NYU’s teen summer program and Stella Adler’s Summer Conservatory, two very prestigious and competitive acting programs in NYC. I was thrilled when I learned that I got into NYU’s program, but devastated when I had to decline because the price of tuition was just too high.

Luckily, I was also accepted into the Stella Adler program! And since the tuition there is a bit more manageable, my dad and my friend’s mom were able to pay for my deposit which allowed me to accept and register for the program.

This program is a great opportunity for me. Besides the excellent training I will receive, it could also open doors and help with my college applications next year!

But I still have to pay for the rest of my tuition. It's due in June and I’m hoping that this fundraiser can help me reach my goal.
