Final Year - AADA 2025

Hi, my name is Beatriz, and I am from Portugal. I have been fortunate enough to follow my passion for acting and, in the last couple of years, move abroad for training. After finishing high school, I moved to London, where I studied at drama schools like East 15 Acting School. Last year, I moved to New York after being admitted to the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), where I just finished my first year.

In August, I start my second and final year of the two-year course offered at the Academy, which I will complete on May 5, 2025. This year provides the opportunity to take classes focused on the industry, career preparation, and direct contact with professionals, working agents, and audition techniques, alongside other classes such as Acting III, Voice and Speech, On Camera, and others. We are being prepared for a career in the business, learning what to expect and how to work in the field. Additionally, we work on both classical and contemporary material, especially in the second semester.

Only a select number of students are invited back after the first year, based on their work and commitment. Unfortunately, right now, I don't have enough money to pay for this year's full tuition due to some personal inconveniences. My parents, who have been funding my studies, have faced challenges this year, impacting their ability to cover the tuition.

Therefore, I am raising money in the hopes of acquiring what I need to join the class of 2025. I have been blessed to receive some additional scholarships from the school, which cover a significant portion of my tuition. However, I still need an additional $15,000 to fully cover the costs.
