This past summer I was diagnosed with throat cancer (orapharyngal cancer) stage 3. It is treatable and the survival rate high. I began treatment September 24, radiation and chemo. The treatment lasts for seven weeks, radiation every day, Monday to Friday, three doses of chemo 3 weeks apart. Full recovery takes six months. This is where I’m asking for help, and this is hard on the ego, 6 months out of work will be extremely difficult financially, so I thought I would try “go fund me” campaign. I have a family, daughter 11 and son 9 . As most Canadians I was living  pay check to pay check, and then life blindsided me with this unfortunate illness. I’m positive of a good outcome, and that’s what really matters is health. I would be so grateful with some financial help, I’m hoping, through this campaign. I feel helpless not going to work in the mornings when the family heads out to work and school Monday to Friday. No matter how small the donation, dollar by dollar we can achieve my goal.
