Dear friends and concerned citizens, we are reaching out to you today with a plea for help in a desperate situation. A mother’s heart aches as she watches her son being unfairly treated by our judicial system. He bravely rejected a plea deal of five years because he is innocent and did not want to admit to a crime he did not commit. Tragically, he endured over a year in jail, awaiting his day in court, only to be assigned a new lawyer just two weeks before his trial date. Shockingly, this court-appointed attorney barely glanced at his case until the day before the trial, and as a result, he was unjustly sentenced to 35 years. We believe it’s time to start a movement, one that can provide parents with the resources to secure proper legal representation for their children and ensure justice prevails. Please, help us change the lives of those who have been wrongly convicted and their families who suffer alongside them.
