SF's Favorite Bartender House Burns
Donation protected
Wednesday, 5/23/18 at about 4:30pm PST a fuse box blew up outside of the front door of my brother's apartment while he and his roommate were inside. They heard smoke detectors going off in the apartment above, but thought that the girls upstairs were cooking. A couple of minutes later there was a loud knock on the door from their neighbor saying that there was a fire. They leapt from their home with only the clothes on their back.

Once the flames subsided they were lucky to re-enter their apartment to see that what had not burned was severely smoke damaged and soaking from the water that had been dumped on the burning structure.
There were luckily no injures and the only losses were material goods. However, both Brett and his roommate Dylan are now homeless. The rental climate in San Francisco does not lend itself to an easy or quick solution, and he could really use your help.
I am starting this fund for Brett to begin to help with the cost of a new apartment, all new clothes, furniture, and anything else lost in the blaze. The total cost is hard to estimate but I thought that this GoFundMe fundraiser could help put Brett in a better position moving forward.
Brett has touched so many people in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco and has literally given the shirt off of his back for more than one person in the area. Now he needs a little bit of help.
Please donate what you can and reach out to him with any way that you can help.
Thank you so much in advance for any way that you can help!
