Shahriyar's memorial fund

My heart breaks as I am writing this message. A young, beloved soul was taken from us too soon. Shahriyar Safarian always put a smile on the face of others and brought light to his family. He tragically passed away at the young age of 18 and will be missed dearly. The tragic loss on July 10, 2021, has devastated all. Shahriyar was seen as a comedian and always brought light into every room he was in. Since he was a child he always had such a one-of-a-kind personality and was full of character. Shahriyar since a child was always a selfless person, going out of his way to care for his family, his friends and everyone else before himself. Shahriyar had the most contagious radiant smile that would warm the heart of anyone around him.

As his 18 birthday just concluding 5 days before the incident, it came as a shock to all that we would be losing him so soon. He was still eager to obtain many goals and dreams. It was just several days ago he was talking about how excited he was to celebrate 18 and finally being considered an adult in society. Shahriyar was hard working and tried to do everything he could to support his family. He had many jobs throughout his life considering how young he was. He was always resilient when it came to education and no matter how many setbacks he faced, he still continued to push forward and overcome every obstacle. He had a very firm goal that he wanted to graduate planning to take courses this summer to fulfill that goal. He inspired others around him to do better and be better. He lifted everyone’s spirits during hard times and reminded everyone of their importance.

With the news of his unexpected and sudden passing, we have decided to create this memorial fund in his honour to aid his family in any unexpected religious/funeral expenses and help support his family through this disheartening time. Any donation is appreciated and is a blessing to his family. Support for his family during this time of need is also appreciated deeply. All of the funds will be allocated towards necessary religious ceremonies, any outstanding funeral expenses and what his family may decide is best to do with the money. Please send thoughts/prayers and good memories to his family he left so suddenly. Pray for his parents, his brother and family as they did not just lose a family member, they lost a friend. Words on a paper can not embody how amazing and charismatic of a person Shahriyar was as he was more than can ever be written on a paper. We can keep him alive in our memories and thinking good thoughts about him every day.
