JCC Maccabi Games Ice Hockey

Dear friends and family,

I'm honored to have been selected to participate in the years JCC Maccabi Games. The JCC Maccabi Games is an Olympic style competition held each summer in north America and is the second largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world. This is the very first year that Ice Hockey has ever been offered, and therefore makes this opportunity even more special for me. Through my participation in the Maccabi Games I will not only be able to compete in the sport I love, but also have an experience that will enrich my Jewish heritage. This year's Maccabi Games are being held in Stamford, Connecticut and I will be traveling alone without my parents, but with other participating athletes. Once in Connecticut I will be staying with a host family.

It takes a lot of effort, dedication, community service and funding to be able to participate.  I've got the first three covered, for the fouth I'm reaching out to you, my friends and family, to help support me in my journey.  Any amount that you are able to help me with will get me that much closer to making this happen.
