Flood Loss Recovery for Vivi

Hello all! My name is Vivi and I am reaching out because over the last weekend I experienced 3 days of sewage flooding in my apartment from my kitchen that left me with damaged appliances, damaged countertops, over $2,000 in lost shoes and clothing, and damaged floors.

The water left my kitchen and damaged the vinyl and carpeted floors of my living room, hallway, and bedroom. I had not heard from my apartment’s maintenance team, so I took matters into my own hands and called a water damage company which totaled in $1,600.

The funds I receive today will help me to make up my unexpectedly expensive costs to my home that have taken from my upcoming rent payment.

I’ve been in an extremely frustrating debacle with my leasing company to be compensated for my own personal money being spent on this and I have been told I can put my rent in escrow while this is sorted.
