Help me find my car

On Sept. 9th a woman in a stolen white SUV smashed and pinned a Prius driving in front of me on Beacon Ave S in Seattle, WA on my way to work at 7:30am. Without hesitation I called 911 and got out of my car to check on the passengers, not realizing that this careless act would be my demise. The woman in the white SUV got out first screaming " I need help" while stumbling around. She was in her late 20s/early 30s cinnamon brown skin, 5'2"-5'4" and possible pacific islander or southeast Asian. I tried to assist her as she was bleeding from her head and ankle. She was not wearing shoes but I figured maybe they had come off or she took them off because her foot was covered in blood. The man in the Prius struggled to climb out of his car from the passenger side door. Because she would not comply with me, I decided to check on the man she hit. He was able to get out and I notified the police we needed two ambulances. A fireman from the station at the end of the block ran up to check on us. But I had been too busy speaking with the cops and man to notice the woman had hopped in my car. When the fireman asked if we (the man and I) were the parties involved I turned around to point out the woman only to see her and my car gone.

She had stolen my car and drove through the intersection. I began to cry and begged the officers to hurry because now she has my car. Yes, I was worried about my stuff and car. But more so worried that she would run over someone or cause another accident injuring someone else. The man go medical attention and the police showed up to only help with the accident. They mentioned that "cars get stolen in Seattle all the time" and that left me defeated. Later that day she attempted to use my locked debt card at a 7/11 at 2009 Rainier Ave S Seattle, WA. I did not have the address at first and google searches of the store number kept bringing me to Kent, WA. However, after a few days of processing my bank was able to get the correct address.

I'm not one to ask for hand-outs. I have always worked hard for the things I have. But this year has been hard (as it has for so many) I cannot handle this financial burden alone. If the car is totaled I was informed I may not receive enough to get a new car because I owe money on this one despite it having a high value.

The amount I chose entails the following:
-Gas burned during the endless driving around town I have done to look for it and continue to do
-Rental vehicle after my 30 days of searching is up
-Replace stolen items from my car
-Any legal fees I may acquire when I press charges
-Missed hours of work trying to get my life back in order.

I truly appreciate all the love and support I have been receiving. I never though I'd have so many strangers care about me. I don't believe my good deed should be punished. I now know the harsh reality of this world. I don't plan to make mistakes like this again. If my car is recovered with minimal damage. Any money I acquire through GoFundMe will be donated to a local Seattle non-profit. I am not sure of which, but maybe one that helps people in my situation. I will announce when the time comes.

I truly appreciate all the love and support I have gotten. The way my post has spread through social media is amazing. I just wish t didn't have to be this way. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story. If you have any question, don't hesitate to message me via Facebook. If you have information on my stolen vehicle please contact 911 as they have to review my car for DNA before I can get it back if found.
