To our family and friends,
Saturday, September 7th, my mom, Rachel abruptly passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. My mom had been battling with multiple different illnesses for awhile. She battled with congestive heart failure with edema, cardiovascular disease and Afib, as well as COPD and stage 3b kidney disease. She left behind her beloved husband of 36 years, along with her beloved 4 children, 2 grandchildren, and 6 siblings. Our hearts are broken and we are in complete shock trying to understand that this is reality. My mom loved country music and loved Elvis Presley! She was a big believer of God. She was crazy (but a fun crazy) and such a giver especially to her children. She would have done anything for her children. My mom is such an amazing women; and cook! We are trying to find strength in this difficult time and God knows that we are stuggling emotionally and mentally. Due to both of my parents extreme health problems, both Rachel and Bruce receive disability and unfortunately affording life insurance was not an option for them. We are seeking help with the funds needed for Rachel's cremation and other finances. All help would be greatly appreciated. Please pray for our family as we go through this time of need. God bless.
