Sunshine Coast Springboard and Platform Diving Club Inc. operate out of Kawana Aquatic Centre which is the ONLY deep water facility able to host the sport of springboard diving on the Sunshine Coast.

The two boards currently in operation were donated from the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the diving area at Kawana Aquatic Centre is sorely out-dated for our budding diving athletes.

Sunshine Coast Springboard and Platform Diving Inc. teach children to dive from as early as 5 years old and train young athletes to National Level. (two of our divers recently competed for QLD in the Nationals held in Adelaide April 2026)

We are looking to raise $125,000.00 to part fund a Government Investment for Grassroots sports in the run up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

This sport is becoming increasingly popular with youngsters but sadly we lack the facilities to enhance our current athletes or entice new aspiring athletes. The run up to the Olympics is an exciting time and children get to see the possibilities within a sport - If Australia wants more Gold Medals we need to be able to offer our athletes Gold standard facilities in our sports!
