Sevinc needs your help.

Yardım istemek kolay birşey değil ama bazı durumlar için gerekli. Sevinç arkadaşımız yıllarca yaşadığı güneş almayan bodrum katından kurtulmak ve mesleği olan öğretmenliği yapabilmek için teklif aldığı ve yeni başlangıç yapacağı şehre gideceği dönemde hastalandı, 40 gün boyunca gittiği doktorlar hastalığına teşhis koyamadı ve evinde kedisi Joy Joy ile beraber hastalığıyla mücadele etmek zorunda kaldı.

Yaşayacağı yeni şehrine gitmeye çalışırken havaalanında rahatsızlanarak acile kaldırıldı ve 26 Temmuz 2022 tarihinden beri hastanede yatmaktadır. Öksürüğünden kan gelmekte, yürüyememekte ve zor nefes almakta olduğundan öncelikle verem ya da kan kanserinden şüphelenildi, yapılan uzun tetkikler sonucunda tanı olarak Pauci immün vaskulit hastalığı tespit edildi. Nadir bir hastalık olan bu hastalıkta bir şekilde aşırı aktive olan bağışıklık sistemi küçük çaplı damarlara saldırarak hasar vermekte, bunun sonunda kan akciğerlere sızarak kanlı öksürük ve böbrekteki damarlara verdiği hasar neticesinde de böbrek yetmezliği bulguları görülmektedir. Tedavisi için Sevincin en az 3 yıl süresince bağışıklık sistemini baskılayacak ilaçlar alması ve takip altında kalması gerekecektir. Sevinç hastalığı süresince ağrılarından dolayı desteksiz yürüyemeyeceği için fizik tedavisi almaya başladı.

Henüz hastanede ne kadar kalacağını bilmiyoruz. Bu esnada işini kaybetti ve yaşadığı bodrum katının kontratını taşınacağı için iptal etti. Tedavi giderleri ve hastane çıkışında kalacağı sağlıklı bir evin kiralanabilmesi ve diğer masrafları için, iyileşip yeniden çalışabilir duruma gelinceye kadar Sevincin ve kedisi Joy Joy’un desteğinize ihtiyacı var. Bu ülkede tek başına yaşayan Sevince yapacağınız yardımlar bir hayatın kurtulup yeniden kurulmasına vesile olacaktır. Şimdiden herkese gönülden teşekkür ederiz.

It is not easy to ask for help, but in some conditions, it is needed. To get away from a no-light basement that she had been living in for years and be able to do her teaching job, our friend Sevinc accepted a job offer and was ready to move to another city when she got sick. For 40 days, the doctors could not diagnose the sickness, and she had to fight the illness in her home with her cat Joy Joy.

She was on her way to the airport going to the city of new opportunities when she got sick again and was delivered to ER. Since July 26, 2022, she has been hospitalized. Because of bleeding during coughing and difficulty in walking and breathing, she was initially diagnosed with tuberculosis or leukemia, but after extended examinations, she was diagnosed with Pauci-immune vasculitis. In this rare disease, the over-activated immune system somehow attacks and damages the small vessels, resulting in blood leaking into the lungs, coughing up blood, and kidney failure due to damage to the blood vessels in the kidney. For its treatment, Sevinc will need to take drugs that will suppress the immune system for at least three years and follow up with the doctors. During the illness, Sevinc started to receive physical therapy because she would not be able to walk without support due to the pain.

We don't know how long she'll be staying in the hospital. In the meantime, she lost her job and terminated the basement contract where she lived because she was going to move. Sevinc and her cat Joy Joy need your support until she recovers and can work again for her treatment, rent a suitable house where she will stay after leaving the hospital, and other expenses.
