Hello, my name is Fatih and I am estimated/confirmed to be %95 disabled.

I have “Arnold-Chiari” type 1, my pharynx (throat), vocal cords, gag reflex, tongue and stomach are all paralyzed. Currently on “Open Tracheostomy”. I am also diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension, asthma and “COPD” (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). I also suffer from Central Sleep Apnea and a similar illnesses. I regularly need to go through medical aspiration.

Because I have Central Sleep Apnea I have to be on ASV (Adaptive Servo Ventilator) with oxygen. Since my throat is paralyzed, even something as simple as taking a meal is difficult. It is common for the food to go to my lungs which then leads to the infection of the lungs.

Arnold chiari malformasyonu tıp 1(Yutak felç, Ses telleri felç, Öğürme refleksi felç, Dil felç, Mide felç, Trakeostomi açık). Şeker, hipertansiyon, astım, KOAH , Santral uyku apnesi vb gibi hastalıkların var. Santral uyku apnesi olduğundan ASV ( Adaptif Servo Ventilatör) solunum cihazı ve nefes almakta zorlandığını için oksijen kondansatörü kullanmaktayım.Yutak felç olduğundan yediğim yemekler ciğere kaçtığı için ciğerler enfeksiyon oluyor. Devamlı aspire etmek zorundayım.
