Severe Broken Leg

Hi, my name is Josina. This fundraiser is for my dog, Junior. He is a three-year-old Aussiedoodle and recently had a tragic incident.

On July 8, 2023, Junior was hit by a car under the care of a friend. That friend then proceeded to lock Junior in a closet and not get immediate help. Junior was then found by the police and was taken by animal control to an emergency vet.

Junior suffered a clean break fracture in his left femur. He is currently at the K-State veterinary clinic. He is stable for now but has bruising in the stomach that keeps getting pooled with fluid. His liver enzyme count is through the roof high. There is blood in his urine and he does not know he is urinating. The option right now is to repair Junior’s femur through surgery.

This has been an emotional roller coaster for not only my sweet boy Junior but for me and my family. Any donations big or small will be used to facilitate all proper care for Junior.

Update-

Junior is now home with a repaired femur. He is undergoing physical/massage therapy. He has four rounds of medication every day and needs to be put in a kennel on exercise restriction for 8 weeks. During his post-op care, I have to watch for necrosis of the skin due to the blood, bruising, and fluid in the skin on his abdomen.

Again any donation big or small, will all go towards current and future medical bills for Junior. I was told by all vets that he was their favorite because of how sweet he is! Help my hurting boy get better!
