In May 2025, my life changed in an instant.

A house fire took the home my daughter and I knew, the place where she felt safe and where life felt normal. She was only 4 years old at the time. She’s 5 now.

What followed were seven months of instability and survival.

Seven months without a stable home.

Seven months of trying to stay strong for my child while quietly carrying the weight of uncertainty.

There were nights without beds.

Days without answers.

Moments when my daughter asked questions I couldn’t fully explain.

During this time, my anxiety, depression, and PTSD were deeply triggered. The loss didn’t just take physical things; it shook our sense of safety and reopened wounds I had been working hard to heal.

By the grace of God, we have finally been blessed with a place to call home again. This space represents hope, healing, and the chance to breathe.

We are starting completely from scratch. No furniture. No household basics. I have secured employment and am actively rebuilding, but there is a gap before my first paycheck arrives, and the weight of starting over has been overwhelming.

I created this GoFundMe with humility and gratitude, believing in the power of community and compassion. Any support, whether a donation, a share, or a prayer, will go directly toward helping my daughter and me rebuild stability and peace.
